Licensed Care Professionals



The Board of Directors will exercise authority and be responsible for the maintenance of the day to day operation, policies and practices of the Group Home and help uphold the vision, mission and purpose.

On a quarterly basis the BOD will also do a walk thru of the facilities to help maintain facility excellence as well as conduct interviews with both the girls and staff to assist in the constant improvement of the program. This will also include a review of services being provided for the clients and the care that they are receiving.

Board of Directors is a selected group of individuals who meet two or more of the following criteria:

  • Experience interacting with challenged youth
  • Worked in an administrative position and brings to the program expertise in business management and leadership positions
  • Knowledge of social and emotional development
  • References that attest to their reputation as mature, spiritual and upright respected members of the community in which they reside
  • Experience in specific skill development areas of our youth

Members of the Board will:

  • Receive an orientation to the purpose and functions of the Board
  • Attend at least 3 Board Meetings annually
  • Be required to speak on topics relevant to the physical, emotional and spiritual development of our clients.

  Darrell Shell

Darrell Shell received a B.S. in Biology from Bethune-Cookman University and a MBA from the University of Phoenix. He is currently the owner of Intuitive Networking Mental Health in the east/central Florida area. A strong advocate for breaking the chains of the mental health stigma in our community, he involves himself in a variety of community service, problem-solving, and technology-infused activities that supports people to empower themselves and improve self-sufficiency.

His professional interests focus on providing comprehensive, integrated mental health targeted case management services that promote health, safety and quality of life of the people served. To inspire confidence, respect, dignity, and professionalism as a provider of mental health targeted case management.

His current projects include small business consulting and the development of a “One Stop Drop” for mental health and access to community based supports.  In addition, he serves as a member of the Mid-Town Health Equity Action Team, Daytona Beach Mental Health Initiative, business consultant and liaison for Tracy’s Cottages Residential Rehabilitation.
